Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union regulations.
Service Description
UptimeMonitoring.com provides API-first uptime monitoring. A free tier is available; paid plans with expanded limits and team features are in development. Access requires a GitHub identity — no separate email registration.
Acceptable Use
You may only monitor URLs and endpoints that you own or have explicit authorization to monitor. Monitoring third-party properties without authorization is prohibited. You agree to respect rate limits and not use the service to generate abusive probe traffic against any target.
Account & Billing
The current free tier is provided without charge. When paid plans launch, billing terms will be published and require explicit acceptance before any charges are made. We will notify active account holders before any free-tier limits change.
Liability Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Monitive SRL is not liable for missed alerts, false positives, data loss, or any damages arising from use or inability to use the service, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Refund Policy
Paid plans, when launched, will offer a 15-day free trial. Refunds requested within 48 hours of acquiring a paid subscription will be honored, less card processing fees. We will respond to refund requests within 15 days. While the service is free, this clause is a forward statement.
Service Availability
We may modify or temporarily interrupt the service with or without notice; we are not liable for such modifications. If we decide to permanently discontinue the service, we will notify registered users at least 30 days in advance and refund all active paid subscriptions in effect at termination.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page is authoritative. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
